Taiwan Work Permit Application Process for Foreign Students
This guide provides a step-by-step overview for foreign students at Chinese Culture University's Mandarin Learning Center to apply for a work permit in Taiwan. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure a smooth application process.
Registration
If you are applying for the first time, please register for an account first on the Ministry of Labour’s work permit application system:
- Enter basic information: Username, password, email address, applicant’s full name, gender, birthday, nationality, passport number, passport expiry date, residence permit number etc.
- Current school: 中國文化大學 Chinese Culture University
- School Code: 001006
- Identity: 外國留學生-語言中心 Foreign students-Attended a Mandarin Chinese Language Center at university/college.
Once you have finished entering these details, please press ‘Confirm’.
Applying for the ‘Work permit’
Using the username and password you registered with, login to the Ministry of Labour’s work permit application system:

When logging in for the first time, please first select the ‘basic data maintenance’ tab:
Check your information doesn’t have any mistakes; if it doesn’t, please press ‘confirm’.

Select ‘New application and Management’:
Select ‘Add application’.
Review by the Ministry of Labour
Once the school receives your application, the case will be reviewed as soon as possible. After confirming that the information is correct, it will be sent to the Ministry of Labour for review.
After passing the review, you will receive an email notifying you that the application is complete as an electronic document.
※Please note:
- The Ministry of Labor system reconciliation will take at least half a working day. After the review fee is confirmed and credited, the system will send the application to the school for review. Applicants are asked to wait patiently.
- The estimated time for application review by the Ministry of Labour is about 7-14 working days; if you need it, please apply in advance.
