Full Refund

You may obtain a full refund under the following circumstances:

1. You are expelled from the school for having a semester grade below 60%, or being absent for more than 11 days.

2. The school does not open the class that you registered for.

3. You have an obligation to return to your home country because an immediate family member is getting married, has passed away, or seriously ill AND have not asked for an extension, nor attended more than 4 weeks of class.

4. You have an obligation to return to your home country because of a serious illness or car accident AND have not attended more than 4 weeks of class.

5. You are unable to obtain a visa or visa extension AND have decided not to return to Taiwan in the next 3 months to study.

 

Partial Refund

If you withdraw for personal reasons, you may obtain a partial refund as follows:

Required Documents

1. If you were expelled:

Receipt; a copy of your passport, visa, and residence certificate

 

2. If the class you paid for doesnˇ¦t open:

Receipt; a copy of your passport, visa, and residence certificate

 

3. If you must return to your home country to attend the funeral or marriage of immediate family or visit an immediate family member who is seriously ill:

Receipt; a copy of your passport, visa, and residence certificate; related justification papers

 

4. If you must return to your home country because of a serious illness or car accident:

Receipt; a copy of your passport, visa, residence certificate, and plane ticket; medical certificate

 

5. If you are unable to obtain a visa or visa extension:

Receipt; a copy of your passport, visa, residence certificate, and plane ticket

 

 

Refund Procedure

Step 1:

- Obtain a ˇ§Mandarin Learning Center Refund Application Formˇ¨

- Speak to an office representative

- Verify that you will not return to Taiwan in the next 3 months

- Find out about the refund procedure and required documents

 

Step 2:

-Have the duration of your stay shortened at the National Immigration Center

- Prepare the necessary documents (refund application form, receipt, copy of passport, visa, residence certificate, etc.)

 

Step 3:

- Bring all the documents to the office to apply for a refund; we will determine whether a refund is possible according the schoolˇ¦s regulations (above)
